How I Started Personal Training

From an early age, I immersed myself in the world of athletics, driven by a passion for martial arts, hockey, and rugby. Kung Fu and Karate lessons were my introduction to the world of martial arts, around the age of eight. My journey took a pivotal turn when I discovered MMA after a year of wrestling. This transition marked the beginning of a lifelong commitment to health, fitness & exercise, training, and learning from seasoned individuals, wether it be in or outside the gym. By the time I was 19, I took on a new challenge by joining the military, where I served for three years in the special forces. This also served as another mark in my my commitment to health and fitness.

Upon returning from overseas, I continued to prioritize my health, fitness, and martial arts training. It became clear to me that training self-defense not only enhances physical fitness but also instills a profound sense of confidence. This realization fueled my aspiration to become a fitness coach, dedicated to helping others achieve their fitness dreams.

In 2018, I earned my ACE fitness certification and began my coaching career at Orangetheory Fitness. After several rewarding years there, I expanded my focus to include teaching self-defense through boxing, kickboxing, and Muay Thai, alongside my unique style of fitness classes. My mission is to elevate each member's fitness level while imparting essential self-defense skills, regardless of their experience. With me, you'll not only get into great shape, but you will also learn how to protect yourself, kick ass, and build confidence that lasts a lifetime!
